Epli TV is a project to exploit the dual ARM Pandaboard and build a new device that can be incorporated seamlessly into the house and diligently serve the entertainment of members who live in the house.
The first interpretation is equivalent to the use of an AppleTV.
The dual-processor card is more than adequate to serve the needs of a much more complex streaming video, but the home TV is the first multimedia object.
The project requires minimum specifications as the use of open systems and open software.
The first alternative is to use Debian GNU / Linux as a minimal base on which to develop the complete solution.The graphical interface should be modern but at the same time trivial.
The solution must be comprehensive and incorporate all the modern technology of the TV:

The design of the packaging is not an option but has the same importance of the existence of the kernel software
